Episode Six - This is Crackers, He’s a Clown and African Sunrise
In this episode, H. Alan Scott, Carrot Top and voice over artist Ted Damian join Doug Driesel Jr. in the studio. Carrot Top displays some of his trademark wit, H. Alan and Carrot Top give Ted some carrier advice, and just as soon as you get start to get tired of Carrot Top, Ted’s morbidly obese mother walks into the room and makes things interesting again.
They also play “Alfred or Alfred,” “What Movie or TV Show is This” and the debut of “The Theme Song Game Game!”
Here’s me hosting a benefit for the nonprofit education program “Create Now.” I apologize for how shaky the camera is - I performed the set during a 13 minute long earthquake. Didn’t miss a single joke!
This always makes me think of my incredible friend Noman who passed away earlier this year. He died of cancer at the age of 25. Reports from family and friends say he was very accepting of his fate after chemotherapy failed. He said he had a great life.
It breaks my heart every day that he is gone, despite him being someone I hadn’t seen that much in the last couple of years. I often get too busy but I talked about him frequently.
A few months ago I got a memorial tattoo in his honor. I totally get why people do that now, as my hand instinctually goes to it every time I think about him. Every time someone asks about my tattoo I take it as an opportunity to talk about what a great person he was.
With Post out town, Straka called up Gian Molina and Nina Tarr (Nervous Jerk Podcast) to come in the studio to talk about their new podcast, why Gian hates Cholos, the NFL Playoffs and Super Bowl, why Nina hates sports, and signs you’re getting older.
